Aussie Trucker

Haul freight across a 1:1, data-built Australia.

I’m making Aussie Trucker, a trucking game set in a 1:1 scale Australia built from real-world data. The first stretch is a 10 to 20 km route between Port Augusta and Stirling North in South Australia.

The plan is that you drive a bonneted prime mover hauling a tri-axle curtain-sider trailer, on the left under Australian road rules, taking freight jobs and delivering them. None of that is playable yet.

What exists today is early technical work, not a game yet: a tool that compiles the world data into tiles of terrain and road, a client that streams those tiles in around a viewer travelling the route, and a prime mover chassis that drives the compiled route at 110 km/h.
